Q: Do I register for the grade my kid just completed or the grade my kid is going into?
A: Either one. We encourage players to play up but it is ok it they prefer to compete against their peers. It could be pivotal to losing and winning!

Q: Will there be coaches?
A: No. This is “hoop it up” type of event. Strategy/adjustments responsibilities will fall onto the players.

Q: Will there be a referee?
A: Yes

Q: Will water be available for the players?
A: Yes, water will be available and free for the players but Gatorade will only be available for purchase.

Q: Will there be a capacity limitation?
A: Yes. A certain amount of players and viewers/parents will be allowed near/in the facility.

Q: If my kid doesn’t want to do all the events but just 2 of them, how do we register.
A: You would register twice. Ex.) Once for UsvsThem, and again for 3pt Shootout

Q: Can seniors that graduated this year still participate?
A: Yes

Q: How does signing as a Free Agents work?
A: Those who register as a Free Agent will get drafted to an established team of 3 as a 4th member or if there’s enough Free Agents, We will create a team of those Free Agents to compete against the established teams.

3-point Shootout will take place on Aug 6th @4:45pm. Register by 4:30pm!

*** Contest will take place on a 10ft goal***

There will be a 2-3 Rounds(depending on the amount of participants) to establish a bracket for the Shooters.

Winner of that round will receive 4 points, 2nd place of that round will receive 3 points, 3rd place of that round will receive 2 points, and everyone else will receive 1 pt for participation.

Each Round will be 3 shots at 5 locations. Top of the key, each wing, and each corner.

Each participant will choose a HOT SPOT from one of the 5 locations. If the LAST shot taken from the HOT SPOT is MADE then the participant will be allowed to continue to shoot for 30 secs straight to rack up the most points possible for the HOT SPOT.

USvsTHEM rules

– Checks have to be given before possession starts off a dead ball

– Walk-ins are permitted

– All Shots are counted as 1 points unless that team is down by 2 or more points

change of possession needs to be cleared by 3pt line before an attempt to to score is made

– The possession needs to be cleared ONLY if the ball has hit the RIM during a shot attempt

– Steals or blocks do NOT have to be cleared

– Teams are allowed to call one Foul per game BEFORE the game is 30 seconds or less. Fouls called at/or less than that time will be called by the referee

– Clock will run continuously until 45 seconds are left on the clock in Championship game. All other games clock will run continuously until 10 seconds left on the clock.

Shooting fouls that are 1pointers will be given 1 shot at the free throw line for it.

Shooting fouls that are 2pointers will be given 1 shot behind the 3 point line.

4 player teams must sub at the halfway point for each game

Tournament Style

– First 3-4 rounds will determine seeding

Seeding will determine positions on Bracket. Bracket will be a double elimination style.

King of the Court rules

– Players will alternate between scoring in the paint and out of it.

– Highest 3 scores over 10mins will compete in the final round.

– Final round will be first to 5 or highest score after 5mins. Ties will result into a shootout to determine a winner.
